Kalima Band
Here is a fresh band with a fresh music. This is a combination of drug rock and swearing rap. The music is about supporting sexuality, crimes, cannibalism, killing and importantly praying Lord - La Mort.
Behind The Design
Client: Indonesian Fu***** Band – Kalima (shorthand of Kalimantan, name of an Indonesian island)
Style: La Mort, Silent & Nice Death
Theme: weird guys but must denote some characteristic of their nationality and hint about music content
Concept: Harmony colors in a darkness background and spooky font. Very time customers use the CDs will be remind their sexual strength (hint users' finger). Also, the outside may be friendly, but the content inside is extremely evil (Demons look nice and soft)
Inspirations: wood Tiki style, Blue in black background style of Apple, color contrast usage of violent art master Caravaggio, the gollum in Lord of The Ring
